...Because D.C. didn't miss you!
The NRCC put a nice video compilation together for the men and women returning to Congress. The video is appropriately titled ‘Welcome Back’ though I think most of us dread their return to D.C. I’d rather pay them to take a leave of absence until midterm elections! In fact, I’d rather double, no triple their pay if they would stay home! The more they dip their hands into, the more they harm our economy, values, and all together the American way that has made our country so successful!
I know I’ve said this a million gazillion times but it’s still shocking to observe the behavior of our elected officials who were selected to represent their constituents. How arrogant does one have to be to totally disregard the views of the people to instead do whatever he or she deems acceptable when it is not in the best interest of our country.
