It does make sense why the Democrats are so keen on expanding the government, if not for federal jobs; they would be unable to hold a position anywhere else! And they say the Democrats aren’t smart...it seems quite the opposite. While they may be knowledgeable in certain areas or “well educated”, their logic and concept of reality are critically off course which is why their policies are so dangerous. Think about it, if they weren’t smart…would they be so dangerous?

A new video released at CPAC by Rep Issa who has been speaking out about ACORN far before it was on everybody else’s radar screen, catches Obama in yet another LIE. Insert Joe Wilson's YOU LIE here. Best of all? The left may have to spend a few more minutes coming up with their ridiculous defense because its Obama against Obama. When ACORN was called out for their illegal actions, Obama distanced himself from the organization. He acted as if he hardly knew who they were. In this video, Obama is caught on tape expressing his fondness and confirming the truth...that him and ACORN are BFF's...bet they have a matching friendship bracelet and all!

Shocker…Obama caught in yet another lie. At what point do the media hold him accountable for his dishonesty? There are times when politicians misrepresent a version of the truth (many times) and even while that should not be acceptable, it happens. Obama is in a different category all by himself. His chronic condition should be diagnosed as his lies are persistent with no sign of letting up. If not for the Internet and the age of YouTube which provide us with videos of Obama promises, campaign trail speeches, and interviews, I’m not so sure we would be able to convince others. He’s just that good!
Often times we criticize politicians as a whole failing to recognize the ones that are fighting and laying it out on the line every day. Yes, there are good politicians, politicians who seemingly remain unaffected by the Washington illness which has been known to spread quickly among politicians and government employees here in Washington, DC. The most recognizable side effect being corruption and accompanied with deceitfulness. Though they may be few and far between and regrettably now is not the time to go through the list of the good guys (or gals), there are a few that I do admire and I feel comfortable recognizing without closer scrutiny (what can I say, I’m suspicious by nature and I cannot recognize a politician that I have not verified personally…just can’t). I would like to thank Rep Issa for his relentless pursuit of corruption even while having to deal with the repercussions that come about when questioning and/or calling out part of the large left machine called ACORN along with the union in which it conspires with. He continues to stand up for the foundation in which our country was built on. The same is true for Jim Demint, Michelle Bachmann, Marsha Blackburn, Marco Rubio, and a few others who refuse to quit fighting the good fight.

Umm...is this supposed to be news? I'm glad we have discovered this video disproving Obama but I question the person who finds this bit of information shocking, I really question their understanding and grasp on reality. I mean that with all due respect.

Gibbs is probably the most annoying person in the admin though that’s a tough call so let’s just say he is def in the running for first place! He reminds me of that obnoxious kid from high school that you wanted to get away from you! He is not only gross but he is rude too. You can always count on Gibbs for three things...first, you can count on Gibbs to be lying. I wonder if he knows how to tell the truth? Hmm...
Second, he won’t make sense. Some commentators like to say that he's unintelligent but I respectfully disagree. I think he is outsmarting everyone by sounding like a babbling idiot. He never answers any question and by the time he is finished, you're so exhausted and irritated by his ramble that you’d rather leave your question unanswered than have him go on for another second! Lastly, you can always count on Gibbs to be condescending! He has no respect for anyone. A press secretary is supposed to be the mouth piece of the administration; you want a friendly, intelligent, witty individual in that job. You want the American people to trust and respect that person as their word is very important. Gibbs is not that person!

This comes on the heels of a 2nd Stimulus proposal by the Democratic Party and President Obama, except this time, they've advised the left to refrain from using the word 'Stimulus'. This new proposal is a "Jobs Bill"...They really do think that the American people are a bunch of fools! One can come to no other conclusion than to assume that this administration and their Democratic allies have no respect for the American people. They show their sheer disgust for the regular folks by their continuous insults and their blatent disregard for their constituents, the very same people who voted them into power. Unless you agree with them or join their fan base, you are ignorant, racist, gun-touting hicks...Ye haww.

I did buy the book Game change though I’m slightly embarrassed to admit it publicly because it seems a bit slimy and gossipy…something I am def not…me gossip? Nevverr…okay 1x or 2x.
Haven’t gotten through it but let’s skip over the Reid comment, frankly because he makes me nauseous and smells, to address Clinton's comment with reference to Obama fetching coffee. Was Clinton's comment rude? Perhaps…is it offensive? Yes, if you are Obama and only if you're Obama. Otherwise, get the fudge over it. Its more of a personal slight towards Obama than anything else.
Defending Clinton is not something I relish in doing but these people in the media (particularly on cable news show) who are dismissing Reid’s imbecilic racist statement while trying to bash Clinton and throw the racism book at him are perversely incorrect or just pure charlatans clinging so tightly onto their hidden agendas.
Clinton spoke about Obama…Obama happens to be black and white…saying something rude about Obama doesn’t mean that it is in reference to his skin color. That doesn’t mean that people don’t make racist comments. For instance Harry Reid’s comment was pretty moronic and racist. But by attempting to decipher what Clinton meant by his comment, we begin to take on the role of the thought police. He said that Obama would have been getting his coffee a couple years ago. To me, that sounds like he was talking about his inexperience, his younger age, his thin resume, etc. After all, he’s not wrong, a few years ago, Obama was a nobody freshman Illinois Senator. To Clinton, this guy probably looked as if he were one of Clinton’s interns…wow I just fell into that didn’t I? (Well not one of those interns but you know what I mean...an intern not "an intern"...)
Nonetheless, fetching coffee is not racist unless you infer that the person is fetching coffee because of their skin color. If we start beating Clinton up about this then it sets a dangerous precedent for the future. What are we allowed to say? Are we allowed to even joke around anymore? Can we be rude without being racist?
What Harry Reid said was wrong, Clinton…rude, pompous, arrogant but I’m not in his head (nor would I want to be) to know what he meant by it and neither is anybody else. If you want to scold anyone, turn to Reid, if you’re over it (much like I am) then move on and write a blog about it or something.
By the way, I’m not white so I’m totally allowed to write about matters of race. Got to love these exceptions right? (being facetious)

Obama couldn’t have been clearer on the campaign trail when he pledged, not once, not twice, but at least eight times that he would have C-SPAN televise the health-crap bill negotiations, negotiations that usually take place in closed backrooms where shady deals are made.
Concerned by the lack of transparency in this administration, C-SPAN CEO, Brian Lamb, sent a letter to the stooges in Congress, oops I mean Nancy and Harry, asking them to allow C-SPAN to come in and broadcast the reconciliation negotiations...again, not out of the ordinary since Obama made the pledge himself.

I’m not sure what is worse, the fact that Obama is a liar or the fact that more than half the country believed him...you tell me!
For the left, the ends justify the means. They want to pass this bill by any means necessary and deal with the repercussions later. This bill is so awful and the stooges are so corrupt that they have to pass it quickly without anyone reading it, no bi-partisan support, and what's even more concerning is the fact that they have to bribe their own party to vote for this horrendous bill. If all these dem Senators and Congressmen are planning on retiring after this term, then there is a legitimate argument to be made about their voting on a disastrous health-fraud bill and their lack of concern relating to its consequences…they are basically going to hit us while we are turned around and run.

For the most part, I would say that I'm a realist but I choose to remain a little bit more optimistic regarding regime change in Iran. I can understand why Krauthammer is less enthusiastic, if any other President were in power, I think they would have certainly used the opportunity in Iran to not only assist Iranians in obtaining freedom but also because it would mean a more stable Iran, one less crazy dictator, and more stability in the region.
I'm not confident that Obama views this as an opportunity but rather an annoyance that has caused his bowing-begging foreign policy to come to a halt...for now that is.

In an interview with The Associated Press, Pahlavi equated the climate of the unrest in his homeland with the "revolutionary atmosphere" that preceded the fall of his father from the Peacock Throne 30 years ago, when the monarchy was replaced by an Islamic republic.
In the letter Pahlavi urged the U.N. chief to press Iran to release those arrested and act to "halt the intolerable and increasingly dangerous march of events." The letter was given to the AP Thursday.
Pahlavi said that recalling ambassadors would be a "minimal but clear indication" by U.N. member states of their support for the rights of Iranian citizens and objections to violations of these rights by Iranian authorities.
"This is not about me. I'm not here to advocate anything but ... freedom and democracy for the Iranian people at first and I've determined this as my unique mission in life."
Still, he acknowledged that "I carry on my shoulders the historic weight of an institution that I may potentially represent."

I absolutely agree his with his contention regarding the retraction of ambassadors. In solidarity, the doors need to shut. Unlike the revolution that occurred 30 years ago, these embassies do not have to fear the demonstrators; the thugs are the ones in power, these people just want their rights back. As he stated, while the act may sound minimal, it sends a clear indication of disapproval to the regime along with support for basic human rights. Since the last revolution, the United States has not had an embassy in Iran but surely Canada, Great Britain, and Sweden (among others) can remove their ambassadors, can they not? If not for human rights, then certainly for our own defense, Obama should be meeting with our allies and making the same request as Pahlavi. During the same meeting, sanctions should be discussed and applied (obviously with the approval of congress).

I must apologize, how inappropriate of me to suggest the President take time off golf to tackle important issues.

Lest we not forget that Obama has been shunned by the mullahcracy once again as 2009 has passed along with Obama’s deadline for Iran.

As I was browsing different articles trying to obtain as much information as I could about Rush’s condition, I was disgusted by the lib-tard medias reports and bias. Without fail, almost every article includes garbage relating to his past which has no significance to this story. Even more disturbing were the comments posted by obvious left-wing-nutties. When it comes down to it, it exhibits a level of classlessness. Krauthammer Criticizes Obama's "Flacid, Meaningless" Words on Iran Protests

As Krauthammer eloquently stated on Fox News Special Report, Obama is continuing to miss a moment in history, one where he has been offered a fairly good opportunity to not only assist Iranians gain democracy from a barbaric regime but as a result help our own country, the region, and the world in general.
Obama needs to come out stronger than ever in denouncing the current regime in Iran, preferably using the same ferocity and passion he uses to scold his political opponents. What will it take? Recognize that she has to be restrained regarding the amount of detail she can discuss as television has certain regulations in which she must abide. On the other hand, it’s nice to know that television has such regulations but apparently children don’t, 14 year olds are supposedly old enough to be introduced to sexually explicit lectures and instructions on methods to insert certain…(ah can’t even go further than that, it’s that bad!). Let’s just say that they are calling this scandal “fistgate”. Kevin Jennings needs to get…and quickly! As more information surfaces on his past endeavors, affiliations with organizations, or statements made referencing his ideology, it is non-negotiable; he needs to get to steppin!

They go on to reveal some disturbing information;

As the article points out in the conclusion, neither the administration nor Obama himself has come out answer questions. Concerned parents and citizens have a right to know what the heck is going on and why this administration would appoint a man with this background to this position.

Obama Flicks off Mayor John Callahan? | Middle Finger x3

This is not the first time that this has happened and beyond it being something amusing to observe, from what I remember about body language, this gesture is not uncommon. I’m not directly referring to flicking off people, though I’m sure that is quite popular as well. I was referencing the whole head itching flicking off movement, which has now occurred on numerous occasions. Each time, the act came upon hearing the name of a rival or a fren-enemy.
For most people, this is a subconscious gesture signifying the hatred/dislike/anger of the person doing it and the person whose name they are mentioning. This makes absolute sense considering the first time Obama did this it was upon hearing Hillary’s name, then McCain’s, and now mayor John Callahan who by the way was a supporter of his opponent Hillary Clinton. Each of us has our own expressions that we exhibit unintentionally and can really provide insight as to how we truly feel. Obama's rhetoric is obviously pleasant because it has to be but body language says it all.

Whether Obama is conscious of his little flip scratch thing, I can’t really say but I can tell you that his head was not itching. Take that to the bank…jk

Robert Gibbs Heated Exchange With Reporter April Ryan

Robert Gibbs, the White House Press Secretary, got into it yesterday with reporter April Ryans. April, a reporter with American Urban Radio, dared to question Gibbs about Social Secretary Desiree Rogers and the incident surrounding the state dinner. As the exchange progressed, Robert Gibbs had the nerve to compare her to his child who throws temper tantrums. He then recommended that she “calm down” and “take a deep breath”.(transcript of the whole exchange below the video)
The President excluded, the White House Press Secretary is the 2nd most visible person within an administration. Obama's Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, has been probably one of the worst in recent years. He is delusional, confused, clueless (or portrays as such), even worse, he tends to be very confrontational. He speaks as if he is above everyone. You may ask a totally reasonable question, instead of answering or declining to answer, he thinks he's on a comedy stage and it’s 'The Gibbs Show'.

Glenn Beck has been named among Barbara Walters (better known as “BawBa”) ‘10 Most Fascinating People of 2009’. The interview is going to shown on ABC next Wednesday, 10 pm ET.
Though he is the topic of conversation and attacked brutally by the media relentlessly, he manages to be quite successful. Beck is doing it big with two bestsellers on the NY Times List, his show on Fox News is num. 2, he is successful in his radio program, his ‘Bold Fresh Tour’ is sold out, and his stage show, “The Christmas Sweater – A Return To Redemption..LIVE!” which is playing in selective theaters around the country. Not to mention, he is the man responsible for outing Van Jones and other WH commie lovers like Anita Dunn.
Whatever your thoughts are on Glenn Beck, he is indeed intriguing. His personality is unlike any other. What I enjoy most about him is that he doesn’t seek the approval of others which allows him to be forward and real. He will tell you what he thinks without reservation and you may or may not like his opinions but you should respect that rare quality. My only issue with Beck is his continuous bashing of the Republicans as if they are equivalent to the Democrats, I understand what he is inferring but when you have to choose between mediocre and awful (awful referring to Dems of course), you definitely want mediocre. The Republicans are not supporting the Crap & Tax bill or the devastating Health Crap Bill. That’s an enormous difference in my book and one to praise!
Btw…Sarah Palin is also included in Wednesdays Barbara Walters Special.
(Walters is a total lefty but she sure knows how to pull in viewers for her special! A very smart move on her part as it guarantees her ratings to double if not more)

Palin responded to Obama's speech tonight by posting a statement on her page;

Three months ago, I joined a number of Americans in urging President Obama to provide the resources necessary to achieve our goals in Afghanistan. Tonight, I am glad he mostly heeded that advice.
At long last, President Obama decided to give his military commanders much of what they need to accomplish their mission in Afghanistan. In the end, he decided to endorse a “surge” for Afghanistan, applying the counterinsurgency principles of “clear, hold and build” that worked so well in Iraq. Given that he opposed the surge in Iraq, it is even more welcome that he now supports a surge in Afghanistan.
This approach means, as Senator John McCain has noted, that “We now have an opportunity to build a bipartisan consensus in support of a vital national security priority: defeating Al-Qaeda and its violent extremist allies in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and ensuring that these countries never again serve as bases for terrorist attacks against America and our allies.”
We should be clear, however, that fewer troops mean assuming more risk. Talk of an exit date also risks sending the wrong message. We should be in Afghanistan to win, not to set a timetable for withdrawal that signals a lack of resolve to our friends, and lets our enemies believe they can wait us out. As long as we’re in to win, and as long as troop level decisions are based on conditions on the ground and the advice of our military commanders, I support President Obama’s decision.

The whole speech was "I...I...I...I...I", I'm so great, I did this, I am great because of this. I understand this.

His speech was made to appeal to his base, the extreme left.

Stop blaming the previous administration for everything. Your the President. YOU CANNOT PICK AND CHOOSE...YOU CANNOT TAKE CREDIT FOR ALL THE VICTORIES BUT BLAME OTHERS FOR THE LOSSES.
He was asked for 60,000 troops but at the minimum 40,000...how did he come up with his 30,000 number? Why are going half-way? Why are you micro-managing the war when you have a competent general?
How do you announce a surge but then set a date for withdrawal? That gives our enemy some assistance. Why is he playing politics with the lives of our brave men and women in the military?
You don't insult and undermine their President in public at a time like this, you do it behind the scenes but you don't bash them when the whole world is listening. Why would you delibertly undermine is authority. Reprimand when the doors are closed.
Why did he infer that we are "occupying" their country? Is that what he really thinks?

Its all show and rhetoric, nothing more.

On numerous occasions (well just about every day since I seem to be surrounded by libs) Ive found it quite difficult to hold a genuine debate or engage in a back and forth because our arguments are defended on different levels. While I seem to be defending my stance with facts, the other side throws some crap at me about emotional nonsense. It’s not that I don’t care about feelings or I’m a cold person, its quite the opposite. The point is, you cannot base arguments on emotions, it’s utterly ridiculous and beyond that, passing laws or creating policies based on such emotions guarantee the formation of additional difficulty rather than solving the problem. Decisions based on emotions fail to consider the outcomes. Everything is a trade-off, solutions are essentially non-existent. It's a Fallacy.

Michael Graham was clearly frustrated as she was trying to make an emotional plea, confusing the truth for her version of it. Whatever makes her feel good...because remember, for the left, that's the most important thing.

It was not too long ago then candidate Obama, during his campaign, promised a "net spending cut". As President, Obama has not only forgotten his empty promises, he seems intent on doing the exact opposite.

There are many children who are going to have to celebrate the holidays worrying about their parents who were recently laid off or haven’t been able to find a job after months of searching. They are forced to hold on to the little money that they have and unlike this admin., not accrue additional debt from unnecessary spending. This is what is irritating about the whole situation, it's the blatant hypocrisy. We all have 'wants', yet we have learned to accept the current situation and understand the difference between wants and needs.
It’s obvious that Obama does not care for history as he is repeating the devastating years of the Carter administration’s policies to the tenth degree.
Unless things change (quickly), continuing on this current trend only prolongs the recession. Even more worrisome, their compulsive habit of printing money is doing nothing more than securing one thing…not confidence which our markets need, instead, it secures the probability of inflation occurring. Add this to the list of the “change” we were promised.

(I tried to warn people that change is an empty word as it fails to imply anything more than something different. Repeatedly, I urged people to understand that change can be good but change can also be very bad. Is it worth the risk? Monday morning quarterbacking, was it worth the risk?)

Obama Leaves White House Holding GQ Magazine Featuring Himself

Obama seems to be Obama’s number one fan! He’s holding a GQ magazine which just happens to have him on the cover, which also just happens to be featuring him, designating Obama the leader of the year (that’s definitely a stretch).
Here’s what I find odd. As a President, you are written about daily, is he not over himself by now? Have there not been a countless number of features and articles written by their fans, oops I mean friends in the media fawning over him and Michelle.
Humility is one of the most important characteristics a leader/President needs to have and yet this President has not exhibited an ounce of it thus far.
What if Sarah Palin were holding a magazine about herself? The press would have a field day!
This is just embarrassing and speaks volumes. It’s not this one incident, it’s after analyzing a series of behaviors and actions that has caused me to draw this conclusion (so don’t even try)!

Apparently temper tantrums aren't really a new thing for SF Mayor Gavin Newsom.
Recently Newsom dropped out of the gubernatorial race and hasnt been happy since. The usually media-hungry Mayor has been acting really shy, avoiding the very people he used to run to when he needed his exposure.

In his first post-candidate interview with CBS-5 Hank Plante, the Mayor got a little huffy-puffy and pretty much acted a fool! At the end of the video he expresses his disappointment...off the record of course (not). Is this guy serious?

After all this is the same guy who cheated with his campaign managers wife who just happened to also be a very close friend of his. Cheating is bad enough but the fact that it was with a close friends wife suggests that this guy has questionable judgement and frankly lacks loyalty! Wait...didn't he just mention being loyal in the interview above! ha that's funny stuff!

WoW | SNL Spoofs Obama Over Debt

Astonishingly, Saturday Night Live finally really spoofed Obama and it was pretty freakin hilarious. It’s not their first jab at Obama but the last time they took a swipe, it was from a left point of view. They poked fun at him for his lack of accomplishments when it came to the leftist polices he promised while campaigning. This time, it speaks for the discontent coming from the majority of the American people, left and right. I hope Obama and his team are getting the message. Yes this may be just a skit but as is true with all good comedy, it wouldn’t be funny unless there was truth to it. His poll numbers are low, people are unhappy and yet, he’d rather pass his idiotic healthcare bill and/or cap and tax bill.
So, SNL opened with a C-SPAN press conference with Obama (played by Fred Armisen) and Chinese President Hu Jintao (played by Will Forte). The Chinese President grills Obama on his reckless policies about spending, he questions Obama and says (sarcastically of course), “To save money involve spending even more money”…
Like I said, jokes are funny when they touch on a piece of reality. This one was based on the fact that during Obama’s trip to China he was basically ignored. Instead the Chinese (imagine that) lectured us (really Obama) on economic policy. They’re even worried about the size of his healthcare plan especially disconcerting in such a bad economy and double digit unemployment numbers. This skit touches on two key points (among many others). The first being that Obama has driven up our debt, continues to do so, and doesn’t really seem concerned which has caused uncertainty and fear. Secondly, Obama seems to have adopted this policy of weakness and this false sense that a weak, obedient, bowing President somehow is a plausible strategy. When has this ever worked? Why isn’t it working now? The Chinese didn’t seem to care and in fact, were even less receptive to Obama. The town hall which was supposed to be an unfiltered group of college students turned out to be filled with communist youth leaders. Additionally, China continuously refuses to get tough on Iran.
BTW, because I don’t really watch CNN, does anyone know if they have started fact-checking this skit as they did with the last one (ha who fact checks a skit…what a joke. Like that’s a really loserish thing to do). Maybe AP has put 10 reporters on this as they did with Palin’s book?
Seems like SNL is stepping in the right direction which is about a third of the way to reaching the frustration of the American people.
This skit might just be an indication to the end of Obama’s honeymoon with his fans in the Press.
As a final point, I would like to add that I found the whole bending over parts of the skit to be distasteful. Whatever my issues with is policies, he is our President and that was crude.

Lets make a deal...

A few days ago, we found out that the leaker behind the Edwards $400 haircut came from the Obama camp. David Plouffe, Obama’s campaign manager, has written his version of a tell-all book describing the 2008 election and the campaign trail. Personally, I don't think I would read the book but some interesting tid-bits have come out.

Additional information about Edwards has once again been exposed by Plouffe. Why do I think that Edwards is not a big fan of Plouffe right now!
According to Plouffe, former Presidential nominee John Edwards, made an attempt to cut a hush-hush sneaky deal with both his opponents. Edwards tried to offer his endorsement (as he was coming out of the race) in exchange for the Vice Presidential spot on the ticket. The book proclaims that the Edwards campaign presented their offer right before the South Carolina primary. In other words, his support was for sale as he would have gladly marched behind either Hillary or Barack, so long as they had given him the number 2 spot on the ticket. It goes on to say that Obama chose not to take any deals and received Edwards’ support anyway.

“This was the pitch: ‘Listen. It's clear unless the race is shaken up, Hillary is going to win. You guys might not even win South Carolina. What would shake the race up is John ending his campaign, but not simply to endorse another candidate. All things being equal, John prefers Barack. They should announce they are joining forces and will run as a ticket. Edwards can vouch for Obama with blue-collar and Southern whites and is running on a change message.’”

Plouffes account of his conversation with Obama regarding the Edwards offer;

"Obama's answer was quick and firm: he would cut no deals."

Maybe I'm just suspicious but I wonder if their rejection of the offer had anything to do with Rielle? This whole discussion took place around the same time the rumors’ were coming out about Edwards having a mistress which was subsequently followed by the National Enquirer story exposing Edwards. As terrible as this may sound, it’s not uncommon for candidates or other people involved in certain political or policy matters to come to an agreement by negotiation. Not hard to imagine. The part of it the bothers me the most is the fact that above all, he knew that he would not be a good candidate for the position and yet, did that stop him from seeking the VP slot? As a matter of fact, with his name on any ballot, there was a possibility that it could be damaging to his running mate and the Democratic Party at large. Whether or not certain staff members knew of his affair with Rielle Hunter, he certainly did and at no time did his moral compass send off a little alert to advise him from running on any ballots. On top of that, there has been numerous stories covering the Edwards affair which revealed that certain staff members were aware of this affair and still went along with the campaign. As someone who has been involved in campaigns, I can’t imagine remaining with a candidate whom I did not believe in or someone who I didn’t find acceptable to fill that position for whatever reason but above all if he turned out to be a complete FRAUD! The people who are voting for him have a right to know what they are getting with this man. I worked on a campaign where the candidate, in my estimation, was not doing certain things that are expected of all candidates in the beginning. I told him straight up that I was not comfortable trying to round up volunteers or contributors to donate time and money until he did what he needed to do. I felt as if I was deceiving them or not being completely forthright. Because of these reasons and a few others, I eventually resigned from my position on that campaign as I found myself questioning his ability. I couldn’t with a good conscience get his man elected if I, myself, wasn’t completely convinced in his candidacy.
This is why I also take issue with his staff as they displayed a severe lack in judgment. (I often have to remind myself that we are not all alike and just because I may not crave power and control; there are many others who do and work continuously towards this goal)

Could Edwards ever get elected again? I hope not!

Why would you not bow to royalty, say the Queen of England but go around in a bowing frenzy when etiquette does not require you to and certainly not if your President. As former VP Cheney said, a President is not required, nor is he expected to bow. As I mentioned in the previous post, not only is it humiliating but the perception is more detrimental than anything else. His toe touches give the impression of weakness.

Krauthammer Discusses the Obama Bow & His "Narcissism"

Charles Krauthammer offered his analysis of the Obama bow, which now almost seems to be protocol instead of what I think most considered it to be the first time, a gaffe! I must say that Krauthammer’s assessments are always very informative. Most analysts will argue their views and based on the argument or even the day, they may or may not make a valuable addition to make to the argument. On the other hand, there are the few analysts or experts that should always be paid full attention to, one such analyst is Krauthammer!
The photograph of the President bowing down to the Japanese emperor was indeed embarrassing. The fact is, if embarressment was the only issue then we’d still be humiliated, perplexed, and slightly worried as to why protocol has unexpectedly changed but it would not be a focal point of discussion (among all the other changes, not for the better). If the implications didn’t exceed past embarrassment, the issue would not garner as much attention as it has. Problem is, in international relations every gesture, movement, word becomes significant. Supplement this with the fact that the world is paying attention and that a foolish act, such as bowing, suggests weakness and it becomes a greater issue than just humiliation. Not to mention that proper etiquette in Japan suggests the bow itself to be improper and even perceived as "mean".

Question...and if anyone could provide an answer, I would really appreciate it...an admin. so concerned with staying on message, robotic in a sense, hardly going off teleprompter, etc., why would they do this? I expect that someone on his staff would have discussed his previous blunder the last time he bowed? Maybe not so much?

First of all, who writes his speeches because they are horrible!
I’m confused, is he President of the U.S. or China?
Also, why must he go around apologizing for the U.S. all the time!? The apology tour began at 12:18 am eastern this time, not long before his speech began! He brought up the civil war, women’s suffrage, issues with immigrants being embraced, and “separate but not equal” treatment of African Americans.
He also brought up himself as he always does! He made it clear that” someone like me” 50 years ago would have trouble even voting.
Let me make this incredibly clear, I don’t want to pretend that our history never occurred…our history, the good and bad are real parts of the American story. I’m proud that we work hard to right the wrongs of our past and never do I want to forget our mistakes. We are doomed to repeat it otherwise. Moving on, we don’t have to have our President be the one to point out our biggest flaws, specifically while speaking in another country! It’s absolutely absurd. This is not the first time and I expect it will not be the last!
Interesting that he did not bring up human rights! Well it was not surprising but it sure as heck is sad that we aren’t that beacon of light anymore for freedom seekers.
…He shunned the Dalai Lama during his visit to D.C. and now he is once again bowing down, this time to China!

Iran | Protests Continue By Boycotting Football Match

The people in Iran seem to have boycotted the Iranian soccer game in Tehran's Azadi Stadium. It has been estimated that only 100 people showed up even though the regime attempted to draw in more fans. Iranians love their soccer, so the fact that the stadium is virtually empty speaks highly of the dissatisfaction with the regime! So take that you evil dictators!
If this is not evident of the resiliency of the Iranian people…I don’t know what is! If you’ll remember this past summer, droves of people in Iran came out in protest against the fraudulent election results. They are still going strong.
Following the events in Iran, I'm blown away by the courageous Iranians that have been protesting the regime since June. The people’s protests against the mullah-cracy have been non-violent while the hard-line regime has responded by brutalizing, imprisoning, abusing, and torturing their own people. It’s truly sick and what makes the situation worse is the fact that Pres. Obama seems unconcerned even while the Iranian people have begged for him to speak up or fail to recognize the regime as they are not representative of the people. Instead, Obama has seemed eager to work with the brutal regime. Obama’s actions since the election amount to spitting in the face of the people of Iran who are begging for a taste of freedom. I am truly ashamed of the behavior of our government. We are supposed to be freedom supporters. He doesn't have to meddle if he doesn't feel that its an appropriate course of action, whatever , at this point I don't really care but I do care that you are meddling by supporting a brutal regime knowing that they appointed themselves without the approval of the people. Recently, during a protest, the people told Obama, you're either with us or with them...Obama must decide, what side does he want to align with...liberty or tyranny?

Quick! Think John Edwards...now tell me what’s the first thing you picture? His Hair?!!
John Edwards’ campaign started shriveling away after his public hair embarrassment incident. Having already been dubbed the 'pretty boy', though I have no idea why but I guess you can’t figure out other peoples bizarre attractions, when this tidbit was leaked to Ben Smith at Politico, the story stuck as it validated the perception that already existed. Another reason the story hit his campaign pretty hard was because of his rhetoric and the foundation in which he chose to run on. His whole thing was the division between the rich and the poor as if it were a boxing match and he was cheering on the poor. Well when you're getting $400 haircuts and you claim to be such an advocate of the poor, it kind of looks suspect. No, it really is suspect! At that point, you don't seem as if you're cheering the poor, instead it looks very much like you're using the poor...which the left does all the time but that's a lesson for a different day!
Who tipped the media? Obama's campaign. David Plouffe, Obama's campaign manager, revealed in his new book that they were behind the leak. Surprising...not so much? Obama has always been the king of opposition research...after all he wouldn't have been elected to the Senate if he hadn't dug up dirt on his opponents.

Breaking | Lou Dobbs Leaves CNN

Though we do not have any definitive answers as to why Lou Dobbs resigned from his position at CNN, I personally think he is sick of the B.S. reporting that has come out of there. His vague explanation for leaving gave me the impression that he was sick of having to worry about being offensive in his reports. When I say offensive, it means not catering to the Obama administration. Additionally, I think the reporting this week and the mainstream medias refusal to acknowledge facts and report honestly sent it over the edge. The news from CNN is watered down and I think Lou is sick of it...I really do. There has been several occasions in which Ive seen him call out people on his own network for misinformation or misrepresentation of facts, and rightfully so!

Hey, you never know...Lou Dobbs might just end up on Fox News or Fox Business? Its the top rated news network and they always draw in at least 2x more viewers than all the other networks. Recently, Fox hired John Stossel from ABC, who admitted to wanting to have more control and discretion over his reporting (basically ABC would frown upon his honest reports). They also hired Imus who used to be on MSNBC. If Roger Ailes and Lou Dobbs were in negotiation, it would not be surprising in the least!

You know...I don't agree with Dobbs on everything but his show was actually one of the more tolerable ones on CNN!

Carrie Prejean Sex Tape | Go Away

Let me make something clear as the title of this post may cause a bit of confusion. Its not that I dislike the girl or disagree with her. No one can deny the fact that Carrie Prejean was harassed and wrongly bullied by the pageant judge, Perez ‘ahole’ Hilton, along with many others on the left. They attacked her because of her personal opinion and that should not be acceptable in our country! I supported her right after the fallout and though attractive conservative women should expect this treatment, it was still baffling to witness the vengeance with which they went after this young girl. That being said…just go away Carrie, please do yourself and us a favor.
Let’s be honest, her answer at the pageant was not the most articulate. In a previous post made on this subject, I wrote that I understood why her answer would come out a little awkward as she very well could have been nervous knowing that her answer would be controversial, specifically while responding to an openly gay judge. Again, I thought the question itself was inappropriate and the judges’ reaction was inexcusable. So she went on to make appearances and then made more appearances…blah blah. It was way too much. I also found her to be speaking off talking points as if this is the message her publicist gave her so she would repeat the same lines over and over without being able to offer real substance. On the other hand, I did think that she made a good role model for those young girls, especially conservative girls who are afraid to go against their friends views and stand up for what they believe in or what they believe to be right. I’m around Carries age and even now it’s hard for me to be completely blunt about my positions or how I feel about Bush or Cheney because I know what lies ahead of me if I dare express my views. For me, it’s not that I’m scared because I can speak up and I can go at it with the best of them if necessary, it’s just that I don’t feel like dealing with the hostility all the time. In that sense, I am glad that Carrie went around speaking up and letting everyone know that it’s okay to speak up and though the left was beating her up, she was still okay.
That being said, when the topless photos came out…it changed things slightly. I’m not trying to be a hypocrite because we all have some kind of stupid stories from our teens and twenties (hopefully not naked pictures); I just think that her role model status becomes a bit tarnished. She came out and apologized, said that she didn’t know the photographer snapped these in between the real photo shoot where she was covered. Do I take her story as truth? I don’t really care…We’re all allowed a few stupid mistakes so long as it doesn’t harm anyone else. So we moved on.
Today we found out that TMZ has uncovered a sex tape of Carrie Prejean from a few years back. Apparently Carrie sent a video of…umm…herself with herself to her ex-boyfriend. I acknowledge that this must be difficult for her; I can’t really say that I have empathy for her situation. Can you feel sorry for someone who sends a sex tape to a boyfriend or do you think they should’ve known better? On the same day she’s releasing a book about the pageant incident and how she is still standing after or something like that…who knows?
Okay, so if you knew that a video like this exists and people were out to get dirt on you, wouldn’t you hold off writing a book? I’m kind of torn on this as I don’t think that her past has anything to do with her treatment and questioning during the pageant or afterwards but on the same note, whether you admit it or not, we all judge each other and this sheds a different light on her or speaks about her values. She came on Hannity tonight taking full responsibility…yadda yadda yadda but once again, I know talking points when I hear them and it definitely seemed like she was given advice on how to handle and approach this topic when interviewed. She is hoping to get in front of the story. It’s obvious that her lawyer or publicist (whoever she has advising her on media relations) told her that Americans like when people apologize as they are forgiving people so long as someone admits to the mistake.
I’m sorry but I don’t find her to be genuine and I can’t pinpoint the exact reason…
So maybe I should change the title of this post because I am on the fence about this…I’m not sure anymore! What do you think? Should she just go away or are you glad that she is speaking up?

“Why Criminalize Those Who Want to Opt-Out?” of the Healthcare Bill Asks Rep. Roskam

Rep. Peter Roskam (R-Illinois) posed a truly outstanding question for those in support of this healthcrap bill. If the bill is so great then why do you have to force Americans to join? As Rep. Roskam questions, why criminalize those who choose to opt-out? Better yet, why aren’t those same public servants (well they’re supposed to be public servants, instead its become apparent that many of them, not all, but a lot our elected officials regard themselves to be of a higher class much like monarchs) signing up for this plan themselves. Once again, if this plan is soo great then why arent they jumping at the opportunity to be on it! Yeah, that'll be the day!

This health-crap bill not only ensures an increase in our taxes but now our tax dollars are going to be spent arresting Americans who refuse to sign up. How much more ridiculous does this have to get for the other half to get out of their fantasy world and realize that this bill chips away at our freedom. Is it worth it to trade freedom and individualism for promises that realistically cannot be kept? Sadly, the bill passed the House 220-215 this past Saturday. Amazingly, even with a democratic majority, the bill narrowly passed though at this point, what matters is not the numbers but rather the fact that the bill passed in general. They are taking Americans, a more accurate description would be dragging Americans, while they are kicking and screaming in opposition, down the road of socialism. Its actually a bit like kidnapping if you think about it…the majority of Americans, about 72% according to a CNN poll, oppose this particular bill and yet the Democrats, much like the mullahcracy in Iran, turn their noses at the citizens and go on their business. After all, (in their opinion) they know what’s best for us even if we refuse to accept it.

Okay so I'm a little late but I was at one of the Victory parties in VA for the gubernatorial race last night and never got a chance to post...truthfully, I didnt stay too late but yeah anyways... Let me just tell you, the crowd was enthusiastic, relieved, and seemed like they had regained their energy. It felt good!

But, just in case you were hiding under a rock...McDonnell is the new Governor in VA. I'm also happy to report that Bill Bolling and Ken Cuccinelli, also Republicans, won in VA last night. This is only the second time in history where all 3 seats (Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General ) were won by a single party. Still want to dismiss the Conservative movement and pretend that this isn't a referendum on Obama's policies...be my guest, you'll be forced to pay attention when we win back seats in the midterm election!

Whats even more surprising is Chris Christies victory in NJ! NJ, a democratic state, has elected a Republican Governor! Crazy and LOVING it!

Last night was an incredible night and 2010 elections are not too far behind!

Cavuto Explains 'Fair & Balanced' To Shep Smith

Last week, after a report by Shannon Bream on Fox News, anchor Shep Smith, apologized to viewers about being “Fair and balanced” because she had only spoken to one of the candidates and aired that report. Well apparently Shannon had made several attempts to speak with the other candidate and get an interview but they were continuously declining the offer which Shep would have known if he had done a little bit of homework. Some say Shep’s comment was obvious sarcasm, but of course the left would use any opportunity to throw something back at Fox News. Personally I can’t say that I like Shep’s reporting! I find him to be arrogant and annoying. I also found his off handed remark, sarcasm or not, to have belittled the journalist who was giving the report at that time. You could tell that Shannon Bream was taken aback. Fair and Balanced means allowing both candidates the same opportunity but letting them choose if they would like to use it or not. You can’t can one interview in the garbage because the other candidate doesn’t want to participate. Shep was totally out of line and though Neil Cavuto failed to mention his name, it’s quite obvious that this is being directed at that particular comment and incident.
After another report by Shannon Bream, Neil Cavuto, as clear as possible so even Shep could understand, explained to viewers what “Fair & Balance” really means and why Fox News is both!
I must say, Cavuto is uh-mazing!

Long story short, NY-23 has a special election taking place next week. The district is a pretty conservative district and there should be absolutely no reason why we would lose it, oh except for the candidate running as a “republican” happens to be further left than the democrat running for this seat. This lady is absurd and if I didn’t know any better, I would say that this is no mistake. For some reason, this to me seems as an intentional placement to have a far left-liberal win in a conservative district by simply removing the ‘D’ and replacing it with an ‘R’. By the way, the frauds name is Dede Scofaazza-whatever. This acorn loving, union hugging, far-left candidate needs to go running back to her friends on the left because we don’t want her! Well thanks to Doug Hoffman, who has now received national press (due to this dilemma); the people in NY-23 have an ACTUAL conservative to vote for. This is race is now a 3-way one with Doug Hoffman running as a conservative, not just in values but also in name.
We also need to applaud conservative pundits and politicians who have stepped it up and endorsed Hoffman. He has a very good chance to win and the polls are actually closing in as people are paying more attention.
Now I’m hoping that Dede drops out but because I don’t think that I can count on that, I’m glad that Sarah Palin, Michelle Malkin, Sean Hannity, Fred & Geri Thompson, and many other have stood up and spoken out.

Ken Cuccinelli (R), candidate for Virginia attorney general, came out on top after a recent debate against opponent Steve Shannon (D). During this particular debate format, candidates are given an opportunity to ask a question of their opponent. Ken Cuccinelli went first and asked Shannon to name each division of the AG’s office and explain what each does. If you are running for a specific position and asking your constituents to trust you, the least you could do is to research your would-be responsibilities and duties in that job. It would be one thing if you attempted to answer the question but the fact that Democratic candidate, Steve Shannon, avoided the topic all together shows his inability to properly prepare for such a position. Shannon always regurgitates the same message to the media having to do with Ken needing on the job training (which is absolutely ridiculous since Ken has experience as an attorney, small business owner, and on the legislature). Seems like Shannon doesn’t even know what the job entails! What’s that about on the job training Mr. Shannon? Yeah, try again.

I’ve met Ken Cuccinelli and I can personally tell you that he is a genuinely good guy who really cares about Virginia. If you add that to his record of standing up for the constitution and being fearless in his pursuit of doing what’s right, Cucinelli takes the cake!

Beyond Ridiculous! Just tell me why? Who would want one? Honestly, I wouldn't want one even if it were handed to me for free! I don't mean to be rude but I don't understand why?

I don't idolize my leaders, they serve during their term and then they are out. I love my country and I respect the office of Presidency...Ill never idolize a President. Even if I were to get all gushy over an elected official, it definitely would be someone who would deserve to be gushed over...hmm perhaps someone who fought for our country and loves and respects our country? If any couple deserves action figures it would be the McCain's. John served the military, was held captive for years while his wife Cindy has devoted her life to charity and helping the poor. Whatever my thoughts are about McCain's views, if anyone deserves to have an action figure...it would be him.
The same company that created the Barack Obama action figure, Jailbreak Toys, designed the Michelle Obama action figure. The company believes that Michelle will do even better than the Barack action figure which sold about 200,000. Like I said before, I don't understand why anyone would want this but then again, Obama-mania is an illness and being obsessed with all things Obama is one of the prevalent symptoms.

The company goes as far as to point out her oh-so-tone arms because we all haven't heard enough about them...I'm sorry but get a cardigan already! I still don't understand what they are talking about but that's okay?

Whiners | WH Wont Stop Crying About Fox News

Because I am a good person (well at least that's what my friends tell me) I feel like I need to warn you in advance. The video posted below is 9 minutes of pure bull from the WH administration bitching about Fox News' coverage of the President. As you know, the first amendment is no longer in play; no one is allowed to report facts.
As you can imagine, CNN is on the WH ‘nice list’ unlike Fox News who is on the ‘naughty list’, who would of thought the President and Santa have something in common (bad joke...in case you didn’t get it, they have the lists in common…ha ha). After all, they are the network that fact checked the SNL spoof on Obama! Take note, how to get on the good side of this administration…display your willingness to promote the President and administration, even though you may be risking credibility and public embarrassment. Example… a major network fact checking a comedy routine. In their defense, maybe they didn’t know it was a parody?
Anyway, do they think that crying about unfavorable coverage will cause the public to sympathize with them? Someone should advise them to halt any future whining sessions. I pity anyone who has to hear this lady daily, talk about irritating! I don’t mean to be unkind but I want my 9 minutes back.
Question...were any of these people present or paying attention to the news in the past few years? Compare Bush's treatment to Obama’s and you will notice the incredible difference in coverage. Most of the media is in love with Obama while the coverage of Bush was hostile and disrespectful. The things that were said and done to him were an absolute embarrassment to the journalistic profession. It’s interesting that the same people who are crying foul now are those very same people who not only did not support Bush during the war, they were vicious and nasty. In some respects, I am happy that it happened because anytime these people want to whine to CNN or some other left-leaning news organization, I just think back to the treatment of the previous administration. Since the word ‘fair’ is thrown around by the left constantly, let’s be ‘fair’ and give Obama as much respect as was given to Bush. Though that would be fair, thankfully, we are not as disrespectful as the left. That being said, I don’t care if the President is a Republican or Democrat, I have every right to disagree with his policies and can choose not to support his plans! Furthermore, doing so does not make me racist so don’t pull that bullshit with me!

In the clip she admits to punishing Chris Wallace by skipping his show on the Presidents healthcare tour. On a totally different note, Britney Spears is trying to catch up to the President number of tours! Seriously, this guy is played out and it hasn’t even been a year yet.
The grab for state-run media is in full swing. Get ready folks…it begins with this, first they punish any dissent, then net neutrality which is socialism for the internet (which by the way has also begun), and last but not least…talk radio with the unfairness doctrine. We elected someone from Chicago, the city with one of the worst records of political corruption and now we are experiencing the methods in which they use to defeat their opponents. There isn't much to say on this one except for the Nobel peace prize obviously being used as a tool by the Norwegians to weigh in on our policies. How much peace did Obama bring about in his first 2 weeks of Presidency which is when he was nominated for the Nobel award. Considering the last few winners of the prize (though I hesitate to call it a prize anymore as they have now tarnished the whole idea of it with this nomination and win), which included former VP Al Gore for his crap enviro-garbage BS and former President Jimmy Carter the 'peanut farmer' nut, I think its safe to say that this group is bias and clearly has their own leftist agenda.

Though it may not have been their intention, they have embarrassed the President and also proved many on the right to be correct in their assertion of Obama-mania.

CNN Actually Fact Checks SNL Obama Skit | What The F?

I was originally looking for the Saturday Night Live spoof on Obama to post. I was beginning to write about how SNL finally mocked the President after a long time of favorable coverage, even while they mocked other political figures, they pretty much steered clear of Obama. Having watched this CNN video below, I am in utter disbelief that a news program would fact-check a comedy routine! All this time that SNL has been doing political parodies from Bush to Reagan, both Clintons, Sarah Palin on numerous occasions, CNN has never done a fact check prior to this. Did they fact check the numerous Palin spoofs where her comments were clearly taken out of context? Considering the above facts, one can only assume that CNN must be racist! Isnt that what the other side would cry out if the tables were turned so it’s the only conclusion that I can come up with.
I may be wrong because I don’t have the same access CNN has to worldwide information but I’m pretty sure that there are important things happening around the world that need some light shed on. If they were that hungry to fill their news slot then I’m sure they could have covered something news-worthy, say the protests and fraud still going on in Iran…maybe?
So CNN was already losing credibility but I’m afraid it’s declining at a faster rate than once thought! Last I checked, CNN was trailing behind Fox News (as always) but surprisingly, CNN was even behind MSNBC!

Advice to CNN, get your act together, your bias is showing and it’s ugly!

Alternatively, I find it kind of funny because it’s absolutely pitiful!

Though it was amusing, I post this for no other reason than to demonstrate the personal and emotional investment the mainstream media and their so called ‘professional’ journalist have in this President. CNN’s Tony Harris was so excited in the beginning which turned to outrage and annoyance once the results were announced.

You Lie | Michelle Obama's Fib To The IOC

Perhaps Michelle Obama …umm…still thinking...ahh what the heck, I really can’t come up with a excuse as to why the First lady would blatantly lie to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) about a childhood story during her pitch. Seriously, I tried to come up with a reason why she would tell this particular lie but I just couldn't because I don't understand it... except for it becoming a pattern from, not necessarily her or her husband (all the time), but this administration. I tried but what else can you say? The first lady told a fib.

“Some of my best memories are sitting on my dad’s lap, cheering on Olga and Nadia, Carl Lewis, and others for their brilliance and perfection.”

Really? Wanna try again?
Carl Lewis' first Olympic try was in 1984 which would make First Lady Michelle Obama 20 years old at that time. Unless she was still sitting on her fathers lap at 20 years old watching the games, which is doubtful, I think its safe to assume that the story is false. (insert Joe Wilson outburst here..."You Lie").
It seems like the Obama’s have no problem with lying as long as it is useful at that given moment to serve their purpose. Obama himself has also recalled stories in the past, on the campaign trail specifically, that didn’t quite match up on the timeline. I’m not trying to pick on the Obama’s and its def not for any other reason that a lie is a lie and it has now been pointed out. That’s all.

Jay Leno Makes Fun Of Letterman Scandal | Rightly So

Full disclosure here, I’ve never been a fan of letterman. I never found him funny. If I was watching late night talk show, it was always Jay Leno. I didn’t care for him before and now I find David Letterman to be repulsive! The way this man goes after Sarah Palin almost weekly, not to mention her daughters is sick. This week, Letterman announced his involvement in a sex scandal and admitted to having sex with his staff. Well, Leno slapped Letterman around in his opening monologue on Friday. All in all, he hit Letterman 5x. (video posted below)

Leno said;

"Settle down. If you came here tonight for sex with a talk show host, you've got the wrong studio."

"I'm happy to say that I've never had a sexual relationship with any of my staff members." (As a band member throws down his drumsticks and storms off stage).

While Letterman's actions are predictable, I would really like to ask the women what the heck they were thinking! Ugh…the very thought! Pardon me; I need a moment to swallow my food back down! I think this proves my theory to be correct as I’ve always said that Letterman’s personal obsession with Palin is a sexual one. I wish it weren’t true but I honestly have to say that I Think he wants her…bad! The problem is, Palin is way above his league and he knows that (oh, and the fact that she’s married and has morals, something Letterman clearly lacks).

Ridiculous Analysis | Stimulus Working?

Anyone who claims that the stimulus is working just might be certifiably nuts. Well it’s not really surprising that the person making such a wild accusation, Robert Reich, just happens to be employed by the Obama administration as an economic advisor.

During the CNBC interview with Reich discussing the large unemployment numbers, he actually claimed that;

"the stimulus package is the thing that is actually keeping the economy up, keeping people employed."

Who actually believes him? The others on the program certainly don’t! You’ll notice the hosts, Francis and Kudlow, after hearing the outlandish statement, look at each other and laugh.
Sure the Vice President made the same outrageous claim but that’s good ol' Joe...we know he is not a rational person. It’s understood that all his comments be ignored. Unfortunately, as an advisor to the POTUS, you’re supposed to have some credibility or at least pretend to if you’re going to be defending the administration on the news. Maybe next time, he could start with a lighter joke…one that’s not so funny seeing as how Americans are losing their jobs. Unemployment numbers came out today showing that unemployment is at a 26 year high…Still think the stimulus is working?
You know, when the VP or even worse, the Presidents own economic advisor, make statements like this, it’s awfully offensive. This is the advisor of economic policy to the POTUS and if they think the country is in good shape and the stimulus worked then this administration and President are more off than I could have ever conceived. Is it stupidity or is it plain arrogance or maybe they just don’t care? It’s the era of “hope and change” folks. Half the country took the bait and now the whole country is paying for their naivety!
This administration and democrats in congress need to forget about healthcare and fix the economy! I mean this is infuriating! Then again, how dare we bore the administration with real issues like this when he’s got better things to do…like make a plea on behalf of his corrupt cronies in Chicago to the Olympic committee! Which I may add…failed at that too!

What is it going to take for them to pay attention…or is it just maybe exactly what they want? Rahm Emmanuel, chief of staff, proudly exclaimed that a good crisis should never go to waste! I hope this is not true but every day I’m moving closer to that conclusion until I’m given a reason not to…like a plan to fix the economy. This time, if they do present a plan, we hope they will take it seriously! We want a real proposal, one that has the ability to work! Instead of creating a so-called ‘stimulus’ bill and throwing money at your political allies as payback, lets present real ideas like lifting the burden on small businesses in order for them to hire more workers. Small businesses provide 2 out of every 3 jobs in our country. Why are the unions more important to the President than small businesses who should have been the focus of the original bill? I’m sure you can answer that question yourself.
Additionally, we could suspend federal income taxes for 3-months so that the money goes directly into everyone’s pocket in order to “stimulate” the economy since that’s what a stimulus is supposed to do.

Well it definitely didn’t go to Chicago...even after the President, his wife, and even Oprah tried to make a plea to the committee on the cities behalf. I guess the committee didn’t want some of that "change".
Wait...they didn’t bow down to 'the One'? Obama couldn’t convince them? I was sure that if the President made the trip to Copenhagen then in some back room deal, he had to have been told that Chicago would be chosen. Otherwise it not only makes the Presidency look small as he is dabbling in things beneath him, whats worse, it diminishes his effectiveness on the world stage. He looks weak. Others may try to diffuse this by stating that other leaders were also present and have gone in the past. As true as this may be, a United States President hasn’t and if we start trying to imitate other leaders then we wouldn’t be the most powerful country or the wealthiest either. Being the leader of the Free World is not the same as the King of Spain who was also in attendance or even their Prime Minister. With big roles come big responsibility and certain rules. Now if he had been successful, the blow wouldn’t be so bad. I would have still disagreed with the trip but if we were strictly dealing with public perception, it could be spun and your power would be left intact. With this...what’s the spin? The Leader of the Free World, the President of the United States, could not even get the Olympic committee to do something, how in the world is he going to convince rogue dictators to follow guidelines?
Right now, I can bet, the other countries leaders are having a good chuckle and a "serves him right" moment as I’m sure those who have met him, like Sarkozy, cannot stand his arrogant attitude.

So let me get this straight, its surprising to some that Fox News Contributor, Marc Lamont Hill, is pretty much racist? His animosity towards white people is evident in any of his rants defending the most irrational people and situations. Thanks to David Horowitz and Accuracy in Media, shocking information about Hill has been revealed and the public needs to be aware of who this so called "public intellectual" is! He is a sympathizer of the Fidel and the left...the EXTREME left! Read the article (link below)...the proof is clear, and his rhetoric/actions are inexcusable. He needs to be kicked to the curb! Marc Lamont Hill and Van Jones have a lot of beliefs in common which goes to show you how extreme they are.

Shocked…well not exactly, it’s come to be expected that the media, like crazy dictators, can disgorge false or manipulated information all while looking at you with a straight face. Then again, if you consider the fact that these people probably have the title of journalist under their names on their business cards, you really shouldn't be alarmed. It just goes to show you how much they appreciate a good joke...calling themselves journalists is a very funny but scary joke!
Anyway, I doubt that its some big secret that politicians, pundits, writers, so called “journalist”, skew and slant polling, statistics, or any other data to fit their particular needs at that particular time. It is also commonplace that (though it’s unethical to do so) many cut out certain aspects of data, interviews, quotes, or whatever in order to make claims supporting their argument which, as I’m sure you'll agree, is deceitful and misleading.

During some show, I cant exactly remember, a pundit or host included a misleading snippet of a part of Becks new book, “Arguing with Idiots”, he offers his list of people he thinks are the “Top Ten Bastards of All Time”. It’s not that the initial claim was false, all the people that were stated were indeed on the list. It was the fact that it was misleading to the viewers and though I am embarrassed to admit this, I too was fooled.
Here is the story, the WHOLE story...the list includes expected bastards like Bernie Madoff, Keith Olbermann, Hitler, FDR, etc. Along with their names, there is a quick sentence as to why which is the part that was conveniently left out. This person stated that Tiger Woods was on the list and because of that fact, it was concluded that Glenn Beck was crazy. I foolishly didn’t look into it further and went along with that assessment as I too thought it was a bit odd that he would insult someone by putting them on a list with such awful people.

Well I purchased the book today totally at random; I had no intention of getting it and had even forgotten about the whole discussion. While I was flipping through the pages what appeared before me…none other than the list! Yes, Tiger Woods is undeniably listed but you have to read Beck answer as to why…

It was obviously a joke. The libs do remember what those are…right? Beck is not a journalist nor did he ever claim to be. He is a commentator who also happens to be a pretty funny. Even without knowing that, if you read the sentence right next to Woods’ name, unless you are a complete and utter idiot, you cannot make any other deduction than it being a JOKE. I know we can stretch many things Beck says and when done, he can sound nutty to some but to purposely try and deceive the public into thinking something by presenting a portion of the story is dishonest.

…I didn’t think I would write so much about this because it’s not that big of a deal but it just irritated me as soon as I saw the book…how irresponsible to not present the full statement when it’s something that can be deceptive if not presented in its entirety.

Chris Wallace | Creigh Deeds Refuses To Debate McDonnell

Up watching Fox & Friends morning show...Chris Wallace from Fox News Sunday has a segment every Friday where he gives us a preview to his Sunday show and announces his guests. I don't have the clip just yet as it happened a minute ago but he just basically said that the VA gubernatorial race is very important so he asked both candidates, McDonnell and Deeds, if they would be interested in debating. Wallace then went on to say that McDonnell gave about 10 dates where he would be free but Deeds declined the invitation even though all the polls show that Deeds is behind.
Is it surprising as to why Deeds wouldn't want o interview on National Television? Uhh probably not considering that he has done horrible in both debates thus far and as my previous post shows, he cant even figure out his own tax plan (because he doesnt have one)!

“It looks likes CMS is engaged in government intimidation, pure and simple,” said Rep. Dave Camp of Michigan, the top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee. He wrote to CMS (the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services)today, requesting it to “immediately suspend the virtual gag order.”
House Minority Leader John Boehner of Ohio also said CMS imposed a “gag order.” “It is outrageous that the Obama Administration is trying to keep seniors in the dark about the consequences of congressional Democrats’ costly government-run health care bills,” Boehner said in a statement. “Would the Administration impose this sort of gag order if seniors were being given information promoting the Obama health care plan?” Medicare Advantage plans, the private insurance plans offered under Medicare, the government program for the elderly and disabled, are targets for cuts in heath care overhaul legislation because they cost more, per beneficiary, than traditional Medicare.
On Friday, CMS said it was examining whether Humana violated Medicare marketing rules or other federal laws, and asked the company to shut down a Website that helped beneficiaries generate letters to lawmakers opposing the cuts, and to stop sending letters to beneficiaries enlisting their support in the fight.
The agency sent a letter on Monday to all plans, warning them not to send letters about the proposed cuts and called the effort misleading to beneficiaries.
The action came at the urging of Democratic Sen. Max Baucus of Montana, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, who has proposed Medicare Advantage cuts that are estimated at $123 billion over 10 years as part of his health overhaul legislation.
A spokesman said Humana has complied with CMS’s requests and is cooperating with the investigation, but it still believes beneficiaries “deserve to know the impact” of the proposed funding cuts. A spokesman for America’s Health Insurance Plans, the industry trade group, also said “seniors have a right to know.”

VA Gubernatorial Race | Creigh Deeds Incoherant Tax Rant Gaffe

If I were his campaign manager right now, I’d be spinning in more ways than one! Actually, that is exactly why I’ve been on hiatus from campaigning! Can we say...stresssssfuulllll! It’s one of the hardest things you’ll ever do but if politics is something you enjoy and you want to be hands on then by all means, go for it!
During the Democratic primaries in Virginia, Creigh Deeds virtually came out of nowhere. After winning the Washington Post endorsement and voila, he became the Dem nominee (for those who do not live in the DC/VA/MD area, the Washington post can play a heavy hand during elections which is most unfortunate).

In the video below Deeds proves his lack of comprehension on taxes! Not only does it not make any sense, it shows how unprepared he is for such a demanding position. How bad is the gaffe below? In my opinion, it makes the whole 'I voted for it before I voted against it' response sound good!
Deeds’ campaign lacks substantive information on specific plans and how he is going to go about implementing the promises made in campaign speeches and debates. While the Deeds campaign seems to have the support of the lib media (mainstream media), I don’t think they can continue to prop him up. He needs to step it up! The problem is, I just don’t know if that’s possible for him to do.

Hmm…I wonder, has Wash Po called Deeds out for responding to the reporter, “young lady”, which was said in a condescending way? Highly doubt it. They had their victory last time by smearing George Allen with his “Macaca” moment and now they’re trying to go for 2-0.

Chris Wallace dishes out the dirt on the Obama white house and administration. It’s no coincidence that Obama plans to appear on all the Sunday shows except for Chris Wallace’s on Fox News. As we’ve learned so far, Obama’s administration is choreographed to the tee. Now we know why the administration has skipped Fox news besides the obvious being that they are afraid they’ll have to actually answer real questions (we know how dangerous that may be when Obama doesn’t have a teleprompter). Basically they intimidate the other networks through daily emails critiquing their every report or analysis. The other networks clearly cave into it while Fox and Chris Wallace refuse to be bullied.

I mean I knew they probably punished networks and shows that they felt were unfair to them (which are any reports that don’t praise them on a daily basis). I can’t believe they send emails regularly harassing the news corp.

Does anybody else have a problem with this? If we have a free press to keep our government in check then how can they fulfill their role appropriately when they have to be afraid that big brother might get upset?

Do you realize that this is what countries like Iran do? Though it’s a beautiful country, the people are protesting in the streets for a taste of freedom while we are gladly giving ours up. Ridiculous isn’t it?

This very well may be the Chicago thuggery political way but we don’t want any of that in DC!

So I thought the first blog about the VMA’s would be a post concerning one of Russell Brands idiotic jokes but instead I stand here in shock over Kanye 'Jackass' West’s inconceivable action.
The first award was handed out to Taylor Swift for the ‘Best Female Video’. Naturally she gets on stage and begins speaking, saying something along the lines of I can’t believe I won, I always wanted one of these…Before you know it, Kanye 'Jackass' West runs up on stage out of NOWHERE and grabs the mic from her to say that Beyonce had the best video (Beyonce was one of the nominees). The crowd booed him, Beyonce looked a bit shocked, and Taylor Swift was stunned and unable to finish speaking. MTV then cut to a Tracy Morgan monologue and directed her off stage.
How much more of an ass could you be? The world already knows that Kanye 'Jackass' West is a arrogant fool but it is now apparent that he has some kind of inability to filter himself.
Though I do enjoy the Jackass' music, he is an ass and needs to really reevaluate his actions…that was unacceptable and hurtful to Taylor Swift who has worked hard for that moment which you took away and can’t give back.
If I were able to, Id ban Kanye 'Jackass' West from further award shows as he has exhibited the inability to conduct himself in a respectable manner, not only for tonight’s action but his actions on previous award shows and live shows.

Beyonce, in an amazing gesture of kindness, wins a VMA but instead of giving an acceptance speech, she calls out for Taylor Swift and hands her the mic allowing her to finish from earlier. Beyonce said that she could remember being 17 and winning her first MTV award. She recalled it being “one of the most exciting moments of my life” so she wanted Taylor Swift to be able to have that full experience. Taylor swift then came on stage, hugged Beyonce and said “maybe we could try this again?”…
I thought that this was incredibly gracious and not only allowed Taylor to have her moment but because of Beyonce’s act of compassion, she has earned herself great publicity and even more fans. To be honest, I was never a fan of her music and really felt whatever about her. After tonight, how can I help but not like her?She is definitely a lady and others should take note!

Okay so is this really an apology? Dont you hate when people say "sorry...but"! It takes away from the apology and your back to where you started from. Is he mocking her for her lyrics because then he goes on to say that Beyonce had to the best video of the decade. He has every right to his opinion but it goes to show how arrogant he is that he thinks his opinion should be the last word, enough so that he thinks he is allowed to attack the stage and yank the mic from her hand. How many times is he going to do something ridiculous and offensive? When appearing on Live TV trying to raise money for Katrina, he blurted out that "George Bush does not like Black people". Though this may be his opinion and he may share it with as little or many people as he feels necessary, was that really the place to do it? Was it responsible? (I personally think his statement was incorrect and irresponsible to make an allegation of such magnitude, specifically during a fundraiser of all places. It was stupid, just like all of his other shannanigans)

Also, last year at the awards show, like a 2 yr throwing a temper tantrum, paraded on stage crying about not winning an award! This jerk had the nerve to say, "If I dont win, this award show loses credibility"

Initially I found the outburst by Rep. Joe Wilson to be slightly disrespectful but upon further consideration, while it may not have been the most appropriate course of action, I don’t think it’s this grand hoopla that the democrats have created for themselves. The more that they complain and cry about it, I find my opinion strengthening in the opposite direction.
During this crisis that this Congress and administration has put us through, you expect me to really feel bad that someone is bold enough to come out and tell the truth during a hour long promo for the President? He is a freshman congressman, someone please tell me how he was supposed to get his point across and get attention, more importantly, attention from a media who works for the administration?

Additionally, the Democrats behaved far worse on numerous occasions during the Bush presidency. So what the Dems are essentially saying is that it was okay for respect to go out the door for about 8 years during Bush’s term but rule change for Obama?

You know what…Sometimes you just have to scream to get people to listen, particularly when the cause is important enough, you get a free pass!

As much as the outburst by Joe Wilson was not exactly respectful and normally I would be 100% against such displays of inappropriate behavior, I do understand why and how this happened. Here you have a President who is giving another campaign speech in front of the nation, addressing congress no less, and his speech is filled with lies and partisan b.s. I have never heard a President be so divisive on purpose. He even told opponents that he would out them…threatening? So, in a moment of frustration, Congressman Wilson lost control and let it out. I was yelling at my TV at home!
Let me ask you a question, the President, on this forum took a shot at Sarah Palin. He called her a liar. Tell me what the difference is? I don’t think a President should stoop that low to hit someone who disagrees with his plan, who by the way is correct in her assertion…Read the bill if you don’t believe me (that goes for you to Mr. President). He’s a bully. Out of all the pundits that have disagreed with him, he went after her…So really, it may have been “rude” for Wilson to scream out the truth and insult the President but what’s the difference between what he did and what the President himself did. The President contradicts himself all the time. He talks about civility and discussion but he then proceeds to bash the Republicans, present false information about their positions, and leaves them out of the discussion. He has the gull to say that the Republicans don’t have a plan which once again (surprise, surprise) is a big fat fib! Too bad their bill was in their hand, if the President would take a minute to stop campaigning and pay attention to anyone but himself he would take notice. I’d rather pay them to take a leave of absence until midterm elections! In fact, I’d rather double, no triple their pay if they would stay home! The more they dip their hands into, the more they harm our economy, values, and all together the American way that has made our country so successful!

I know I’ve said this a million gazillion times but it’s still shocking to observe the behavior of our elected officials who were selected to represent their constituents. Obama's Job Approval Numbers On A Downward Trend

According to Rasmussen Reports, Obama’s job approval numbers have seen better days!

Overall the number who Strongly Approve has fallen from 43% in January to 30% in August. During that same time frame, the number who Strongly Disapprove has grown from 20% to 39%. Those numbers translate to a Presidential Approval Index that has declined from +23 in January to -9 in August.
Also in August, the President’s total approval fell below 50% for the first time.

Of course the healthcrap bill and the manner in which Obama handled this situation encouraged the decline in his approval numbers but the cause of the drop is not entirely limited to just that. Overall the American public is unquestionably angry and even more so, frustrated with this administration and Congress. They are calling on their representatives, many of whom they voted for, to pay attention to their views on a wide variety of issues, the most pressing at this present time being the proposed healthcrap bill which would overhaul the whole health care system for the worse. Instead of having these representatives, supposed public servants, treat their constituents with respect and listen to their legitimate concerns (or in the very least, they could pretend to listen), they treat them like barbarians and proceed to name calling as if they are 2 year olds having a temper tantrum.
Its not too difficult to imagine a politican...say Barney Frank for example...jumping up and down, screaming “wahhh I want my healthcare bill to go through but they are being mean to me and wont let me have it…It's all mine! Wahh, they wont give me all their money…its MY money. I know how to spend it better than they do. They don't even know what's good for them. They're stupid and meaniess”.
These concerned citizens are now the enemy and they’ll stop at nothing to tear them down. For the first time this administration and politicians on the left are running a smear campaign, not against any organized group or corporation but against the American people. Apparently, they think we are stupid enough to believe that these stay at home moms who are worried about their families future and health are mob members. CHyeah ohhkay!

Van Jones, special adviser for green jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, resigned Saturday, following weeks of pressure from the right and a flurry of revelations about his past statements.
"I am resigning my post at the Council on Environmental Quality, effective today," Jones said in a statement dated Sept 5 released around midnight on Sept 6."On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me.They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide," he continued. "I have been inundated with calls -- from across the political spectrum -- urging me to 'stay and fight.' But I came here to fight for others, not for myself. I cannot in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and energy defending or explaining my past. We need all hands on deck, fighting for the future."

Wait did he really just say that people are spreading lies and trying to smear him? Did he not do that for himself? When in doubt, play the victim card!
You got to love how they release this statement on a Saturday night around midnight! People are busy during the weekends, they watch less news, not to mention this is a holiday weekend so everyone is on vacation!
Okay so this is one down, how many more of these radical advisers are left? Oh about 35 more!

An organizer for HCAN is caught on tape coaching “supporters” of the health-crap bill on how to wreck havoc upon the town hall and drown out any opposition! When have we ever been intimidated into silence by our own representatives and called improper names if we dare to reject their lies?
If you discuss the current situation with someone who has immigrated to the United States from a country where freedom was only a dream and/or socialism, they’ll tell you how they are familiar with this format of stacking the chips in the governments favor. The truth is not relevant, what is important is the truth they want us to believe (i.e busloads of supporters brought into the town halls from around the state).
These people are experts at deception. After all, these people belong to the same party that somehow fools millions of minorities into believing that they actually stand for them when all evidence points to the contrary.

Harry Reid has never been one to hold it in. Any thoughts that go through his deranged mind seem to regurgitate out of his mouth. Well, he’s done it again! It just seems like he has absolutely no control over what he says. Then again come to think of it, it has been my experience that those who cannot control their own lives or feel as if they do not control portions of their life find it necessary to control others. Perhaps this is the case with Prince Harry? Who could forget when the Senate Majority Leader made that appalling remark regarding visitors to the Capitol and their body odor. His exact quote was;

“In the summer because of the heat and high humidity, you could literally smellthe tourists coming into the Capitol. It may be descriptive but it’s true.”

If the Senator did any real work, he might sweat a little himself. Instead, the only thing this self-proclaimed prince can do is to spend our hard earned money! This is also the same pompous Senator who said the war was lost while our troops were still overseas!
This week at a luncheon, Prince Harry told a Nevada Businessman,

“I hope you go out of business!”

He’s like a child that just doesn’t know when to shut up. I hate to be rude but this behavior is unacceptable, you are above no one. How dare he bully anyone! Is this what our founding fathers had in mind, a legislative body of bullies? We can only hope that he’ll be voted out this upcoming election!

Yet, as Bob shook hands with our senior U.S. senator in what should have been nothing but a gracious business setting, Reid said: "I hope you go out of business."

Later, in his public speech, Reid said he wanted to let everyone know that he wants the Review-Journal to continue selling advertising because the Las Vegas Sun is delivered inside the Review-Journal. Such behavior cannot go unchallenged. You could call Reid's remark ugly and be right. It certainly was boorish. Asinine? That goes without saying.

But to fully capture the magnitude of Reid's remark (and to stop him from doing the same thing to others) it must be called what it was -- a full-on threat perpetrated by a bully who has forgotten that he was elected to office to protect Nevadans, not sound like he's shaking them down.

Just wanted to post a reminder to watch Fox News Sunday tomorrow. Chris Wallace recently interviewed former VP Dick Cheney and if I am not mistaken, we can all count on Cheney to be very candid.
The significant event that prompted this interview was the announcement of U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder’s investigation into enhanced interrogation techniques. Holder appointed a special prosecutor to look into whether crimes had been committed. This was done even after the administration promised that it would not focus into the past but instead move forward. But then again, can we ever count on what they say…it’s an administration full of rhetoric bearing no weight!
Anyway, here’s a sneak peek into the interview tomorrow.

(From the interview) Cheney called the probe,

"outrageous political act" that will do long-term damage to the United
States' capacity to protect the country.
We had a track record now of eight years of defending the nation against any further mass casualty attacks from al Qaeda. The approach of the Obama administration should be to come to those people who were involved in that policy and say, 'How did you do it? What were the keys to keeping this country safe over that period of time?'" Cheney said.

As the producer of the video states, I am also proud to have Rep. Michelle Bachmann in Congress as a defender of the constitution. She may not be my Congresswoman but she does stand up for conservative values at all times. This is one fearless lady! She tells it straight, she says what she means, and she’s not afraid to debate irrational liberals. I know Bachmann has plenty of haters, people who have nothing better to do than monitor her every movement and word in order to take them out of context. Thus they intend to make false allegations on those words they twisted in an effort to discredit her. Her opposition already tries to make her sound like she’s off the wall nutty. I’ll be honest with you; I was worried for a moment that they were going to attack Bachmann as they did Palin. Because she’s attractive, she’s republican, and not to mention outspoken, she's considered an enemy by those who disagree with her positions. Let us not forget Alinskys strategy or what’s better known as the modern lib handbook, their strategy is to isolate and ridicule which has happened already with immense persistence. Like a dork (I mean dork in the most complimentary of ways! Wanted to clarify, you never know when the PC police decide show up and begin issuing citations) I am absolutely into all things political and try my best to follow all issues as close as I can. So you can imagine that I was familiar with Michelle Bachmann. As much as I’ve heard her speak, watched her interviews, and am knowledgeable about her positions, it would be dishonest to act as if I know anything about who she is and her past qualifications. I decided I would find out more about her and its actually quite interesting. Not only is she intelligent, her and her husband are very compassionate people. Here are a few facts you may or may not know about Rep. Michelle Bachmann:
-She has 5 children and has been a foster parent for over 23 children (that’s amazing)
-She received her J.D (law degree) and also her LL.M degree in tax law
-She served in the state senate from 01-07
-Her and her husband own a small business which employs over 42 people
-6th District in Minnesota and was elected for her second term in 2008
-Elected in 2006 as the first Republican woman to represent Minnesota
-She spent 5 yrs as a Federal Tax Litigator attorney working on hundreds of civil and criminal cases.

Sorry folks, she’s not only attractive, straight forward, fearless, but she’s intelligent and very considerate.

Amazing! That’s all I have to say about Mark Levin’s FaH-Bu-Lous book, Liberty and Tyranny!
I must forewarn you that I am not yet finished with the book; I have about 30 pages left. I say that with an enormous amount of sadness as I am not ready for the book to end quite yet. It must sound silly but it’s honestly how I feel.
What the mainstream media wont report is the success in sales of his book. Since its release in March, the book has dominated the New York Times Bestsellers list. When’s the last time you heard any mention about this book on any of the networks? Don’t be fooled folks; they are fully aware of it which is why they choose to ignore it. Because the media can’t pick it apart and they certainly can’t disprove any of his facts, they have no choice than to essentially boycott it and hope that it goes away. In fact, Mark Levin has detailed and credited his sources for any naysayers! Unfortunately for them, we are not allowing them to dictate our beliefs nor will we allow them to choose our reading lists.
Well folks, Ill post my full review once I finish reading the book in it's entirety but I’m pretty sure you already know how I feel about it at this point. Simply amazing!

ABC & NBC Say No to Anti-Healthcare Ad

The refusal by ABC and NBC to run a national ad critical of President Obama's health care reform plan is raising questions from the group behind the spot -- particularly in light of ABC's health care special aired in prime time last June and hosted at the White House...

..."The ABC Television Network has a long-standing policy that we do not sell time for advertising that presents a partisan position on a controversial public issue," spokeswoman Susan Sewell said in a written statement. "Just to be clear, this is a policy for the entire network, not just ABC News."
NBC, meanwhile, said it has not turned down the ad and will reconsider it with some revisions.
"We have not rejected the ad," spokeswoman Liz Fischer told FOXNews.com. "We have communicated with the media agency about some factual claims that require additional substantiation. As always, we are happy to reconsider the ad once these issues are addressed."
Adams objects to ABC's assertion that his group's position is partisan.
"It's a position that we would argue a vast majority of Americans stand behind," he said. "Obviously, it's a message that ABC and the Obama administration haven't received yet."

So basically Obama gets an hour long FREE time slot on ABC to discuss his healthcrap bill but a group PAYING for an ad in opposition on healthcare is way too partisan for ABC. Right. Maybe it would behoove ABC to force Obama's hour long infomercial to be reviewed for accuracy! Of course that would be too much to ask of a journalist and a news agency!

I attended a town hall rally and low and behold guess who the volunteers were...UNIONS! It was way too obvious that half of the people in support of the bill were there at the direction of a group like 'Healthcare for America' whose signs were being passed around. The opposition who are supposedly mob members were a lot less organized, their signs were homemade, and to be quite honest, they were more knowledgeable about the facts rather than spewing the left wing talking points which lacked substantive information. I'm not saying this to be rude but the people I spoke to in support of this health'fraud' bill said the same thing over and over, trying to argue a compassion plea but lacking any other information. If they did supplement their argument with facts (or so they thought), they were supposed facts because they came out of the Presidents mouth. Well I really dislike telling you this but um...hes kind of all talk and no show. Lets be wise, take a look into history, politicians LIE...surprise surprise. FDR lied about Social Security and led people to believe it was more of a personal savings account. It happens! That's one example out of many. You have to realize that its up to us and our investigative journalist to expose the truth. Unfortunately because the journalist seem to have dozed off on duty, its up to you and I to make decisions based on our own research and not because someone says its true. Do you go to the car dealership or buy a house without doing some research beforehand? You look into the neighborhood, you find out how much the other houses that are similar to it were sold for. You get an inspection to make sure everything is as they say it is. You do your homework! Well folks lets do our homework on this healthcrap bill! You'll have no one to blame but yourself...well maybe those slimy politicians too.

So this guy apparently cheats on his wife which pretty much makes him a loser (no sympathies here) and makes a deal with her to stand at a busy intersection during traffic with a sign admitting his infidelity. (Video Posted Below)

"I thought she was kidding, but she was serious," he said. "I figured I got to do what I got to do to makes things right. So here I am."

This happened in Tysons Corner, VA which is about 15 min away from DC. Let me tell you, that intersection is VERY VERY busy throughout the day not to mention during rush hour. Apparently hes going to be out there for a few days.

I mean these people are serious in their unrelenting pursuit to achieve nationalized healthcare (which is basically the first step to reconstructing our country in the opposite direction of our founding fathers and our constitution) and they are throwing in everything they’ve got! It makes you think, why is this so important that it needs to be passed right away and without any hesitation?
Obviously this bill is ridiculous but something else smells and it’s coming from the left side of the aisle!

And in other news around the world, lets take a little trip to Cuba which I believe is about 90 miles off the coast of Florida in the Keys. Because I'm too lazy to google this, take the whole 90 miles thing loosely and refrain from repeating unless googled to check for accuracy. Now back to Cuba. AP reported this week that Cuba (the lefts paradise) is going to be running out of toilet paper this year. Trust, this is not a joke. I'm sure the people in Cuba wish it were a joke.
I must tell you, now I understand why Cuba is spoken of so highly among the left. Now don't get me wrong, I don't mean to insult the country, its the government that I choose to insult! Cuba has wonderful people and a beautiful beautiful country. Cuba used to be a resort island until the Communist takeover. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the wonderful cigars. Now that I'm a mobstah (because I'm opposed to the healthcare plan) I must puff on a cigar here and there to get the full effect. Just trying to get into my role folks...gotta play the part.
So let me get this straight, Dems try to convince me that Cuba has the best healthcare system yet they don't have toilet paper?
Once again, I don't want to make light of the situation as I genuinely feel for the Cuban people who have to put up with these atrocities but I also find the situation to be a bit comical because of the Democratic leaders in OUR country trying to convince us that we should be moving to the left...

financial crisis and three destructive hurricanes that struck the island last year.Cuba's financial reserves have been depleted by increased spending for imports and reduced export income, which has forced the communist-led government to take extraordinary measures to keep the economy afloat.
"The corporation has taken all the steps so that at the end of the year there will be
an important importation of toilet paper," an official with state conglomerate
Cimex said on state-run Radio Rebelde.
The shipment will enable the state-run company "to supply this demand that today is presenting problems," he said. Cuba both imports toilet paper and produces its own, but does not currently have enough raw materials to make it, he said. One of the measures taken to address
the cash crunch is a 20 percent cut in imports, which in recent days has become
evident in the reduction of goods in state-run stores. Cuba imports about 60
percent of its food. Despite the shortages, prices will be cut between 5 percent
and 27 percent for some food, drugs and personal hygiene products, officials
said.
A visit to a store in Havana's Vedado neighborhood on Friday found that
prices had dropped for mayonnaise, barbecue sauce and canned squid.One
customer, who gave his name only as Pedro, complained that "it doesn't look
like prices have been lowered for the fundamental products" such as cooking
oil. Ana Maria Ortega, deputy director for military-run retail conglomerate
TRD Caribe, said there will be no shortage of basic goods.
"The conditions are in place to maintain the supply of essential products," she said on the same
radio program. Cubans receive a subsidized food ration from the government each
month that they say meets their needs for about two weeks. President Raul Castro
told the National Assembly last week that the government had cut its spending
budget for the second time this year and has been renegotiating its
debt and payments with foreign providers.

During an interview with Sean Hannity (video below), Rudy Giuliani discussed the Gates incident and advised the President to take the incident as a "teachable moment" (as he said so himself) and apply it to the future. The teachable moment,Giuliani answered, is to 'Shut up'. Clearly Giuliani is not telling the President to shut up but is advising him to shut his mouth when involving himself in matters that do not concern him. More importantly, refrain from publicly humiliating and degrading a police officer during an evening press conference in front of the whole country if you do not have THE FACTS. If a President goes out of his way to call you racist, how do you ever get away from that? Your name, your career, everything and anything you’ve ever done is tarnished from that point on.
After all, as an attorney he should know that you are innocent until proven guilty...on both ends! I believe that we should all know the facts and make our final conclusion based on the evidence we receive. Furthermore, we should always have respect for Police Officers.
Okay, Im done writing about this so let me get down to the nitty darn gritty of it all...Everyone should have respect for one another but most of all, we should respect authority. Follow directions, obey the law, and we can all be friends.
Anyways, I do like Rudy Giuliani despite the fact that I worked for his opponent during the primaries; I still like him a lot! He’s not afraid to be disliked, he’s tough, funny, and gives it to you straight!
